How do I modify my personal information?

• Modify the Name, School informations
• Modify Birthday Info
• Modify gender
• Change region preference

Kindly follow the below steps to modify your personal information on the Web / Dcard APP.

Modify the Name, School informations

📱Dcard App

1. After logging in, go to your personal page and find "Settings", then click on "Settings".
2. Click on "Manage Account".
3. You will see options to modify your name, and university information.
   • To change your name, please upload an identity document that can verify your real name.
   • To change your university information, please upload a student credential containing your real name, university, and department.
     
     After uploading, please wait 1-2 business days for the team to verify.
     

💻Dcard Web

1. Find the user icon at the top right corner of the webpage. Next to it, there's a small inverted triangle. Click on it and find the "Settings" option.
2. Once you find "Settings," you will see options to change your name and modify your university information.
3. To change your name, please upload an identity document that can verify your real name.
4. To change your university information, please upload a student credential containing your real name, university, and department.
   
   After uploading, please wait 1-2 business days for the team to verify.
   
   

Modify Birthday Info

📱Dcard App

1. After logging in, find "Settings" on your personal page and click on "Settings".
2. Click on "Manage Account".
3. You will see the option to modify your date of birth. Please upload an identification document that can verify your date of birth (the document must show your name and date of birth).
4. If you do not see the option to modify your date of birth, please contact us.
   
   After uploading, please wait 1-2 business days for the team to verify.
   

💻Dcard Web

1. After logging in, click on the personal profile icon.
2. Find "Bio" in the left sidebar.
3. Click on the small pencil icon next to your birthday.
4. Upload a photo of a identification document that can verify your birthday (the document must show both your name and birthday). Then, enter the birth date that matches the document and submit it for review. Once the review team approves, the process is complete.
   
   After uploading, please wait 1-2 business days for the team to verify.
   

🚹🚺 Modify gender

Please contact us directly and provide us below information：

1. The account you registered for Dcard
2. National ID or any form of identification which can verify your gender info. 

Once we received your request, our team will reply you via the email at the soonest.

Change region preference

This function is only applicable on Dcard APP. 

1. After logging in, click on the personal page and find "Settings."
2. Find "Region preference".
3. Select your preferable region, then click "Submit" in the upper right corner to complete the modification.
